  1. I've flagged AND emailed abuse@etsy.com - and still they remain. Such an insult to the rest of us who are legit sellers on Etsy.

  2. wow, you flagged and emailed, but this still remains?

Etsy - fail on this one

  3. this is ridiculous

  4. It's not a bad concept, but nor is it in any way something that should be on Etsy.

  5. Dee, you sound so surprised! This happens all the time - otherwise this blog wouldn't exist.

  6. Does anyone know when etsy started sending convo notifications if you get flagged? I thought it was done via email.

  7. Oh and I've flagged this shop hald a dozen times.

  9. If you don't like etsy's rules of vintage, just make up your own!

  10. Gern Blanston -- what a shop you found! Talk about on-line yard sale; the blatant acknowledgment that the things aren't really vintage is just the icing on the cake.

  11. And BROquet is currently empty. Evidence of admin at work?

    JK

  12. yeah i sent a nasty email this time to Etsy admin saying either they did something about it or I would publicly call the shop out on the forums. That was at about 10 or 11am this morning.

  13. awesome Christine!

  16. Gift baskets are not any different from what LittleBlackBoxes or any of those others sell. Yet, they are somehow allowed. I will never get why people send their merchandise FREE to these people and then allow them to profit off it.
    Promotion FAIL
    Etsy TOU FAIL
Business model WIN, however. After all, isn't it clever to get your merchandise for free?

  17. Yeah, I agree FR. I would love to see the LittleBlackBox type shops done away with. And there has been a proliferation of Mystery Box sellers too, ebay refugees no doubt.

I still question whether mystery boxes are allowed as listings have to be for a specific item...
