  1. Dude, the LV shoes. OMG. You have GOT to be kidding me.

  2. There are 3 resellers featured in the Storque today.

Nobody at Etsy pays any attention.

  3. This store is an outrage, I flagged it last week, but of course it's still there:

She is selling all kinds of tacky non-handmade, non-vintage items. Such as this Sanrio change purse:

And these barely used Adidas shoes:

Or how about this China made marijuana ashtray?

She even has a Hello Kitty section:

  4. YARD SALE!

  5. And the shoes are dirty too! Yuck. She'd be better off wearing them some more until they are truly filthy and then selling them as "well-worn" to the pervs on ebay.

There's good money in perversion. Or so I have been told.

  6. Who are the Stroke resellers?

  7. Well here's one.

A pic right out of a fashion magazine. Unless Etsy sellers with 0 sales can afford to hire top models

  8. I don't think AlinaIovita is necessarily a reseller. Just because you have good pictures doesn't mean you're a reseller. She could easily have a friend who's a photographer and another friend who's working on getting her portfolio together, and they're just trading favors with each other. If you're an artist you tend to be surrounded by a lot of other creative people.

    Just saying. :)

  9. ahahahaha! I flagged those last night. Could only flag em as not being vintage, not as the crappy fakes they are. OMG.....

  10. RESELLERS DREAM doesn't have anything in the shop anymore.

  11. a louis vuitton model posing for an etsy seller. must be nice to have those kind of friends...

  12. It's a Louis Vuitton model? Well damn. That kind of blows my theory into pieces, doesn't it?

  13. Looks like she's a fairly established designer however. Check out her website:

    http://www.alinaiovita.com/about.htm

If she actually makes each garment with her own hands, or if she "just" designs them is another question though.

  14. re: alina- even if she just dyes them or embellishes or whatever she would be considered to have handmade her garment as per etsy rules

now those resellers of garage sale crap need to be kicked out asap. they make us all look bad

  15. Flagged these over and over. FYI ANY Multi-color LV is from 2003 or later and is more than likely FAKE.

LV has been around since the late 1800s and there are many vintage LVs, but more fakes than originals.

  16. Gosh, are those Louis V shoes? A bit hard to tell since the photo may have been taken while trampolining.

  17. I've been flagging these nasty knockoffs for weeks! They're still there!

They should hire me to nail crap like this. I know fake from real, vintage from not, and I know how to read the damn LV date codes!
