this shop Shmena
<a href=""></a>

<a href=""></a>

Sells candles, jewelery, seed kits etc. These products are all over the net from a wholesale distributor.
They are not handmade, the seller has copied the pictures, and also used the descriptions, from another site .

There are also links to their website in the shop announcement and product descriptions

Received this in my inbox-
Regarding the Reseller I wrote about yesterday, <a href=""></a>

Now they are incuded in the gift guides! Look, most of the stuff might be okay if listed under Supplies. But it is being listed in handmade categories, and is clearly not handmade. Can you please do something to correct this?

They even state the manufacturer in the listings.
This is in the gift guides

Look at the tags, paper goods, stationery, set, recycled paper, eco, pencil, commercial

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something about this!

  1. I am pretty sure it wasn't Admin.... :P Still, its fixed.

  2. So I just checked this resller, lemontree77. It looks like they were contacted by etsy and changed their tags to Supplies on all the items on the first page to comply. Page 2 and on still have pencils and bags and other stuff listed in handmade cats. Esp those tote bags have no place on etsy, as they are not supplies. So please keep flagging! You just have to check the listings on page 2!

  3. Thanks for posting my email. I wrote to etsy abuse about them twice, hence the wording in my email. Thanks for putting this up. They were on the FP, picked by Admin, and the next day I found them in the gift guides! Isn't it obvious they are Resellers?

  4. I am not entirely convinced that shmena is greengiftbox...

I am sure she's a reseller but it would be interesting to contact greengiftbox and see if she knows she has an etsy shop.

Oh and did you see her sold items? The apple tree-to-be? Ugh.

  5. They're reselling the same stuff you reported Paperbinder for a couple of weeks ago!
