Etsy Call Out (the Duplicate)

We are in deep shite with Wordpress again *groan* wonder who it is complaining this time....

UPDATE- Not sure why the blog was closed down but it was reopened without ANY response to me so WHAT?!
To everyone that wonders why we put up with it- Wordpress is way more user friendly and the IP listing for each comment has busted more than one reseller pretending to be someone else....or a husband *snort*

UPDATE 2- I think the post on beadskingdom is too linked up and is sending alerts that we are a spam blog because before the first closure I made that post and now when it went back up I fixed the size of the text and updated and now it's down again with

ECO really enjoys using Wordpress but they can be so infuriating sometimes. They removed this post from the blog and now need to contact me before I can post again. As before, posts will be here until resolved. However, if the above thought they were going to hide the callout by contacting Wordpress  they were WRONG. I decided to repost this here because censorship is UNCOOL WORDPRESS. Esp. when we did nothing but report the truth.

To clear up confusion, all original posts will be made at Wordpress. Because we like it's features better- like all comments on one web page so you don't get 50 emails in your inbox, IP information, tags for each post, rss feed info correctly displayed etc.

BUT because they have shown that they fold under some free speech issues I have this blogspot and a program that transfers all info from one blog service to another. Just in case. Bwah ha ha, we are unstoppable.

A very amusing email I received from the crazy funkyshique bunch…

I just finished reading your blog entry on Funkyshique. It was incredibly shocking to me as an Etsy seller myself to see how other sellers would treat Funkyshique. 
Etsy is a plethora of mixed items, including items to be altered, things that appeal to the artistic mind. You would have to report over half of Etsy and could spend 24 hours a day pointing out non-vintage and non-handmade items.
Funkyshique has a nice subtle style and doesn’t exploit any type of manufactured item, unlike many of the made in China supplies found on Etsy. She is a hard working Mother, American Citizen and Hobbyist with her own unique style and has respect enough for our planet to recycle.

Does every knitter weave their own yarn or every artist mesh there own canvas fibers? I hope she paints the figurine purple and sprinkles it with glitter and calls it Altered Art.
What a shame that your blog exists simply to insult others. I see nothing but jealousy and envy and negativity.

Yep, the new Etsy rules say it must be handmade by YOU or 20 years old UNLESS you are a mother, a US citizen, a hobbyist with style and hell, even recycle. Nice to know. Mothers, hobbyists and earth lovers from other countries be damned!

Here's what they have to say in an excerpt from their profile:

Wonderbars sound wonderful for something one can get from a grocery store not etsy, I wonder if Cliffbars will start selling on etsy because they are "done by hand" in a factory, I mean "facility" too."

This girl goodluckelle decides to respond to the comment "You have a wide variety of things! Is this all handmade by you goodluckelle? If so, that's impressive!" with

"Oh they are not handmade by me but my supplier workshop! Thank you :-)"

in her own thread that she started. Wow. Gobsmacked.

To clear up some things- our Wordpress blog will carry duplicate posts as here. Some people have problems seeing links here and cannot find the RSS feed (which I didn't touch). If you are having the same problems you can check in over there. This blog does not show links unless you put your mouse right over where the link is. Sorry for the confusion. We received an email about "bling" pacifiers.

"I am grossed out by all the baby items containing Swarovski crystals, especially the pacifiers. Anyone who has ever been around a baby knows they put EVERYTHING in their mouth, and you are going to give them a Swarovski pacifier? the shops do not have anything in their policies regarding lead in crystals..."

Here is the latest word I have from them:

The person who made the comments is legally responsible for them.
As they have been brought to your attention and you have the power to 
remove them you also share that responsibility.

If someone on another blog was saying this about you then you would 
expect us to do something about it.

Freedom of speech does not come into this. The law does. We have to 
obey the law and so does everyone else. The person being attacked has 
every right to engage a solicitor and start proceedings.

If this is a random reader and they are making serious allegations 
then why not delete them?

The comments must be deleted or edited as I said. They have to be removed.

'stole' and ripped off' designs.
If the commenters provide full legal proof of that and post  
that information to that post then the comments can stay.
If they cannot then those comments need removing or those 
words editing out. The person who wrote the comments may  
see what they say as opinionbut those are legal terms and 

proof has to be provided.

Hi! i've been flagging this shop for 3 weeks straight and have even emailed them about it. All I get is a generic hi there! This shop is selling puppets from the company Folkmanis. they have even taken the pictures right out of the website. The finger puppets are Peruvian imports. The whole shop is a sham, including the story about the grandma making them for over 50 years.

Thats funny, Folkmanis has been in business for 30 years maybe they stole this lady's patterns! ;) Shame on you Folkmanis.
